Shocker: World Series of Video Games shuts down!

The World Series of Video Games, home to massive Guitar Hero II, Quake 4, Gears of War and Counter-Strike cash prize tournaments, has officially shut down and cancelled all future events. Games Media Properties will refocus its business ventures to online community content.
