Nintendo is offering to replace the original version of the wrist straps for the Wii Remote with a newer version. Fill out their online form to receive up to 4 replacment wrist straps for your remotes.

Oh, thanks man. I was looking for this. I went ahead and ordered four even though I only have two. hehe.
I will say that Nintendo likes to keep their customers happy. Not to mention keep their law suits at a minimum.
At least they own up when they fuck up.

Same only had two controllers, but I figure when I buy another controller it will be the old wrist strap so I went ahead with 4.
