Wright to be Honored by Producer\’s Guild - Shacknews:
Each year, the Producer’s Guild of America presents its Vanguard Award to individuals or organizations demonstrating extraordinary achievement in new media and technology. Previous recipients have included George Lucas, James Cameron, and John Lasseter. Today, the Producer’s Guild announced that at the 2007 show being held in Century City on January 20, SimCity and The Sims designer Will Wright will become the first video game designer to receive the award.
